It's been a while since I have posted family from the past so I want to share a picture of my Grandma Singleton. Her given birth name was Ida Belle Jones and she was a saint. When I was about 10 years old, I stayed over night with her and Grandpa every chance I could got. No electic lights, no bathroom, just a path to the out house. Lots of people lived that way in the olden days!! We would sit for hours and work jigsaw puzzles. See her little round glasses--she would drop them down to the tip of her nose so she could see the pieces better. She would glance up at me with a twinkle in her eyes and say,"How about a spot of tea?" Maybe no bifocals then either, I don't know. She was a great hugger too. When Grandma hugged you, you knew you were hugged!! The tea kettle was always on the back of the old wood stove in the kitchen and I loved her tea she served in her little old teacups. I wonder where those cups ended up. When I go to her grave, I tell her I will have my tea kettle on and have a spot of tea for her when I get home. Miss you, Gramma

I have never seen a picture of her. I want a copy of it.
What sweet memories of her. I don't think I have ever seen that picture before either. Can I have a copy too?
She looks so much like Grandma Bessie
