Munson Bridge Winery-May 16,2010

Paul and Lynn took us out today for a Mother's/Father's Day treat. We only went about ten miles from their home and this is where we ended up. The owners started as a hobby to make their own wine and ended up in a very unique business. The scene is at an old barn, turned into a winery and gift shop. Here is an old dresser turned into a display case of wine.
Some of the many , many bottles of wines for sale. People drive for miles, just to purchase their wine here.
I just loved this one- an old piano, turned into a display case holding wine glasses. You are given a glass and you get to taste several different wines. I liked "Juila's Raspberry." It was so good!!!
Outside we found this glass bottle tree. A metal thing bent to shape like a tree and all different colors of bottles hanging on it, upside down. It looks like I am lifting off a bottle, no way!!- They are all held on some way. The lady told us they even hold weddings there. The upper floor (the hayloft to us farmers) is set up for dancing and picture taking. I tell you, these folks thought of everything. Thank You, Paul and Lynn for a great day!! Love you guys--

Julia's Raspberry is my favorite also, and they run out of that flavor very quickly. Glad you had a good time, it's a fun place to go.
