Mother & Daughter Aprons

Some time back Tabby asked me to make aprons for her friend. I have had the fabric here for a long time, but we had a lot of bumps in our road of life, so I didn't get to sew them until now.

This week I finally got caught up on my sewing jobs. Today I worked on these two cute aprons with the little cupcakes and apples on polka dots. How pretty is that?

I had to guess on the size for the little girl. Tabby said, "a tall six year old."Well, I don't have one of those here all the time so I cut it about the size I thought Lily, Kallie or Aubree would wear. Hope it fits her. My next project is to make a king quilt for the Alzheimer's walk in September. Gotta go shopping for lavender and purple, the colors for Alzheimers. Where the lilac is the slogan~~~

Glad to be Home!

After five days in the Wausau hospital due to a "grouchy heart", we brought the Commander home yesterday at about 7:00PM. He will be on several pills a day now for a while. He is doing very well,  eating good and getting in the hall for his walks. He sure was glad to get a shower this morning, said he was kinda smelly!

The bag for his medications that I forgot to take along when I rushed him to ER on Sunday.

After a hot shower and watching Deal or no Deal, his favorite game show.

His says, "Get out of here with that camera!" It was a rough ride for a couple days there, but we made it with our Master doing the driving.
