Easter Flashback

Does anyone know who these girls are? The year must be about 1972.  At least this year her basket was not in the cold wet basement!

I guess I must have said, "Cheese!" Looks like more grass than candy in those baskets. Girls- were you naughty this year?  I've been seeing these a lot on the slide here on my computer and thought you might get a laugh seeing them too. Have a Blessed Happy Easter one and all~~

Isn't she just adorable-- here she is in the first grade. My little blondie!!
Growing up---The pants with bibs were in fashion here.

Graduation photo--this is the glamour shot!!! The others were all outdoors , more like Patti.

Taken on our front lawn at the farm in May. Guess the tulips were a little late that year. Have a Happy Day, Patti

Happy Birthday, Megan

Tomorrow on September 9, 2009 is a special day for this little cutie!! Dancing with her friend at Paul and Lynn's wedding . Way to go girl--step off a round for me and Grandpa!!
She is growing up way too fast. I remember when she was 10 years old when she called her dentist and made her own appointments. Patti said,"She's only ten?? "

Of course we have to see the big buck she shot right at home when her Dad was tramping all over the county looking for one of these. You really showed him didn't you, Meg? I think he popped a couple buttons off his shirt showing off how he taught his little girl how to hunt.
All grown up and out of high school. A big day for her as she turns twenty-one this year. After singing for us so many times, and running track to break records at school , she is now ready for the real world--watch out world, here she comes.
Happy Birthday, Megan, we are proud of you!!

Little Annie Oakley

With her dog and her pistol, this is Patti. Some where along the road of life, Bruce and Dean tagged her with the nickname "Pluck". Who in the world knows how they came up with that?

And Then There was Patti

The last of the gang is Patti. I named her that after one of my best friends from high school, Pat Olson. We danced every day during lunch hour and played on the same volleyball team when there was no dancing. Of course that was before I knew a certain football player! Patti was a little girl that loved to sit on any body's lap. Even in some pictures, she is on mine or her Dad's lap. She was (and I think still is) a cuddler. One time when she was about 10 years old, her Uncle Ernie and Aunt Florence Westrich were at our home. We were sitting around the kitchen table talking and of course Patti came and sat on my lap. Auntie Flo said "I bet when you are out of school, you will still like to sit on Mama's lap." I just closed my eyes and tried to picture that one--made me laugh. We have to try it sometime, OK, Patti.

The Baby of the Bunch

How's this Dad? Am I doing it right?I think this one was taken at Poyda's home at a graduation party. Dad is looking for someone to learn how to play his concertina so Patty had to give it a try. Doesn't she look like she got it figured out?I won't tell you what it sounded like!

And last but not least

Patti was born on November 19, 1965. She was born on her Dad's birthday!
